Based on the analysis of the sustainable development of private regular higher education institutions in China, the paper aims at promoting those qualified in issuing formal diplomas to both the expansion of scale and the enhancement of quality so as to integrate the economic benefit with the social benefit and contribute to the process of popularizing China's tertiary education in the 21st century.
