法律语言是人们长期在立法、执法、办理非诉讼法律事务等语言实践过程中形成的一种语言变体 ,在长期的使用中形成了以准确性为基本特征的多种语言风格特点。准确性风格特点的形成是由法律所具有的控制个人和群体行为、规范社会秩序的特殊功能所决定的。为实现准确性这一目标 ,法律语言应用者应从内容明确和表出方式准确两方面进行不懈努力。

Law language is a kind of transformed language, which comes into being in the language practice of legislation, execution and non-lawsuit business. During its long-term usage, it has formed many kinds of styles while its basic one is accuracy. Law's special function is to control individual and mass action and standardize social order. Thus, accuracy should be its basic characteristic. In order to reach this goal and administer our country according to the law, law language workers must make a sustained effort in two ways: explicit content and precise expression.
