充分利用CAI教学手段 加强文化知识的输入与输出

摘要 外语教学应以培养学生的跨文化交际能力作为一项主要的任务。然而 ,这几年 ,虽然这样的认识日益高涨 ,但由于传统外语教学理论和教学模式的影响 ,片面追求大学英语四、六级考试的通过率对大学英语教学的冲击等原因 ,造成大学英语的教学往往厚此薄彼 ,出现语言教学中不尽人如意之处。结果 ,虽然通过了大学英语四、六级考试 ,但我们的学生仍然讲不出一口地道的英语 ,在跨文化交际中屡屡犯错 ,造成对方误解 ,失去原有的“言外之力” ,甚至贻人笑柄 ,构成面子威胁行为 ,从而铸成大错 ,导致交际失败。本文具体分析了跨文化交际错误 ,从跨文化交际学角度和语言教学所存在的问题入手对这一现象进行剖析 ,指出语言教学和文化教学应并行不悖 ,利用多媒体教学手段增强文化输入和输出以提高学生的跨文化交际意识和能力不失为一个行之有效的办法。 It is well-known that it is one of the principle objectives to foster students’ intercultural communication ability in language teaching, yet in reality, it is always a case for us to find that such fostering has always been neglected as influenced by traditional teaching theories and approaches as well as over-emphasis on the passing percentage of CET Band Four and Band Six. Consequently, we have found that although the students have already passed such tests and with flying colors for many of them, in intercultural communication, governed by different cultural background, different social norms and different social rules of speaking and short of intercultural awareness and communication ability, they tend to make mistakes and cause culture shock, as a result, leading to pragmatic failure. The present paper, from the perspective of intercultural communication, endeavors to give a detailed discussion of the intercultural errors and the causes for such errors, pointing out ways to solve the problem by fully employing the CAI technology to strengthen cultural input and output.
