摘要
英语教学离不开其基础理论———语言学。在语言学的众多分支中 ,应用语言学、社会语言学及语用学等理论对语言教学的影响较大。应用语言学对大学英语教学的影响主要是通过交际性教学法的实施来实现的。社会文化因素在大学英语教学中的地位反映了社会语言学对大学英语教学的影响。语用学对大学英语教学的影响体现在话语 (语篇 )分析教学法上。
