2002年11月26日“肖邦岁月——波兰音乐周”开幕式及肖邦生平展开展仪式在北京中央音乐学院举行。此次活动是由中国音乐家协会、波兰肖邦协会、国际肖邦基金会主办,中央音乐学院、波兰驻华大使馆协办,时代乐音承办。 为期5天的“肖邦岁月波音乐周”活动中包括肖邦生平展、五场由波兰钢琴家彼得·帕莱奇内、卡西密什·盖尔诺德、卡洛尔·拉季沃诺维奇、丽迪娅·格雷赫托乌夫娜、爱德华·伏拉宁演奏的钢琴独奏音乐会、两场肖邦专题讲座、一场肖邦钢琴音乐演奏大师班及一部反映肖邦与乔治桑爱情的电影《爱的渴望》的展映。 音乐周在中国的音乐界和音乐爱好者中间掀起了波澜。精彩的音乐会、大师班和讲座、丰富的肖邦生平展受到中国听众和观众的盛赞,成为中国近年来少有的音乐盛会。

The opening Ceremony of 'Chopin Days——Polish Music Week'as well as Chopin Exhibition was held in the Central Conservatory of Music on November the 26 2002. The activities were organized by the Chinese Musicians Association, Fryderyk Chopin Society and International Fryderyk Chopin Foundation; co-presented by the Central Conservatory of Music and Polish Embassy in China;and presented by the Generation Music Production. The five days 'Chopin Days——Polish Music Week'in- cludes Chopin Exhibition,five piano recitals given by Polish pianists such as Piotr Paleczny, Kazimierz Gierzod, Karol Radziwonowicz, Lidia Grychtolowna and Edward Wolanin.two lecutures on Chopin, a master class on Chopin piano music and a movie 'Chopin——Desire for Love 'concerning the love stories between Chopin and George Sand. The music week made great waves among Chinese music field as well as the classical music lovers. The wonderful concerts, successful master class and lectures, rich and Chinese audiences and participants and made one of the greatest music pageants in recent Chinese music field.
