The way resources are allocated is of vital importance in forestry ecosystem development in Western China, which decides the rationality of resource utilization and the efficiency of investment, and also plays a key role in the local economic development. The paper discusses the different ways of resources allocation in the forestry ecosystem development in Western China under the condition of developing forestry in a striding way, pointing out that a way of resources allocation combining plan with market should be adopted in the western forestry ecosystem development based on an analysis of the planned and market ways of resources allocation and the reality in the west.
