后现代主义背景下的语言符号研究——读福柯的《词与物》有感

Linguistic Sign Research in the Postmodernist Background ——Reflections on Foucault's The Order of Things

后现代主义思想家福柯的名著《词与物》充满着丰富的语言符号思想。把福柯的“知识型”转变理论与语言学的发展历史结合起来进行对比分析显示 ,“知识型”的根源在于对符号能指与所指之间不同关系的认识 ,每个时代的知识型都对语言学的发展产生了深刻的影响 ,语言学的发展与整个人文科学的走向是一致的。在后现代主义思想风起云涌的今天 ,语言符号研究也正面临着新的转型期。

Postmodernist Michel Foucault's The Order of Things is full of semiotic ideas. An analysis of Foucault's“turning of episteme”in relation to the history of linguistics development shows that the “episteme”theory has derived from the understanding of various relations between the signifier and the signified. The“episteme”of each age has influenced the development of linguistics,and the development is found to have kept abreast of that of humanities as a whole. With postmodernism prevalent today,studies of linguistic signs is also at a new turning point.
