The article analyzes a hot topic being discussed in academic circle whether there were sciences in ancient China. It puts forward and demonstrates the reason that this question is slow in coming because of the developing science and the difference of judgement standard of every disputant. To make sure whether there were sciences in ancient China, we must combine the historical condition and abandon the limitation of time and environment. The convincing conclusion couldn't be got only by the judgment standard of modern science and technology.
