The paper introduces the basic geo-information system of Fuzhou City form the object, general framework, function module and data sources of constructing the basic geo-information system, and focuses on the discussion of the data coding blueprint, data model, data storage pattern of the system as well as the urban spatial database management system based on the softwares ORACLE and ArcSDE.
