随着对西学接触程度的不同,梁启超的中西文化观发生了很大变化,对西方文化由仰慕到怀疑并进而到基本否定,对中国文化由怀疑到批判并进而讴歌。他的文化活动的重点也因文化观的变化而由倡导输入西方文化转变为倡导输出中国传统文化。

Liang Qichao's views on Chinese and Western cultures changed greatly with the furthering of his contacts with western culture. His attitude towards western culture changed from his initial admiration to doubt and then to basic negation while his attitude toward Chinese culture changed from doubt to criticism and then to celebration. Accordingly the focus of his cultural activities shifted from introducing western culture to exporting traditional Chinese culture.
