摘要
研究非英语专业学生的英语学习焦虑特点和焦虑对英语课堂教学的影响,其内容主要包括:学生的课堂口头参与特点和焦虑的关系;学生的外语学习焦虑程度;学生英语学习焦虑对课堂教学的影响。笔者使用访谈和问卷两种形式对西北师范大学化学教育专业的47名一年级学生进行了调查和测试,结果表明:大部分学生不能主动参与课堂活动是由焦虑所致;学生的焦虑程度较高。研究显示,课堂焦虑是课堂互动中不可忽视的"不可见因素",教师可以通过多种手段帮助学生克服课堂焦虑,提高学习效率。
This research aims to investigate the characteristics of foreign language classroom anxiety and its influence in non?English major classroom. The study is carried out in three major aspects: the relationship between learner oral participation and language anxiety; the degree of the students'foreign language anxiety; its influence on English teaching. The results of the research show that: most students don't volunteer conversation because of the language anxiety. Most students are high anxious. The investigation makes us more aware that 'the unobservable factors' in classroom interaction can't be neglected. Teachers can help students to overcome anxiety by the means of various activities.
