摘要
本文从当代语言学中音位学的理论出发,探讨了英语音位层的审美结构,指出构词理据中的拟声、次要拟声、各种音韵的审美特征及其在提高英语学习者语言鉴赏能力方面的功能。
According to the phonological theory of modern linguistics, this paper exposes the aesthetical structure lying in phonology. It points out that onomatopoeia, secondary onomatopoeia, rhythm and sound patterns all play an important role in the aesthetical value of the literary language. Also, the study of these markers will help English learners to improve their appreciative ability.
