A Study on the Ecological Design of "the Tjibaou Cultural Center

建筑大师R·皮阿诺(意)在特吉巴奥文化中心的设计中,充分挖掘和利用当地的文化传统与自然资源,在被动式通风系统的设计、自然材料的选择、天然光线的利用等方面,通过高科技手段,达到了与自然的生态平衡,给予当今生态设计理念有益的启迪。

Renzo Piano,the famous architect who designed The Tjibaou Cultural Center, paid attention to the cultural tradition and made a full use of the local natural resources. With high-tech methods, he combined the architecture with the nature in ecological balance effect and gave us many good ideas of the ecology design in architecture, such as the system of passive ventilation, the use of the natural materials and the natural daylight.
