摘要
功能派翻译理论提出了目的性原则,突破了对等理论的限制,要求翻译活动必须依据翻译目的,以文本目的为翻译过程的第一准则;同时,它还强调了忠实原则,并提出了翻译标准多元化的观点。在广告英译的实践中,以该理论为指导,可以使译文更容易为英语受众接受和认同。
With the ever-increasing economic globalization,it is very urgent to translate some Chinese advertisements into English.However,this kind of C/E translation work is rather difficult in that such previous translation theories were hardly formulated and this kind of work is extremely flexible and trivial.In order to cope with such a difficult situation,I make a careful study of how to apply functional translation theory to the practical C/E advertisement translation work.
