对我国科技期刊国际化若干问题的探讨

Discussion on the Internationalisation of Sci-tech Journals in China

探讨了科技期刊国际化的标志及其关系以及我国科技期刊国际化的目的,认为国际化期刊的最根本标志就是期刊内容国际化和读者国际化,强调科技期刊国际化不能背离为我国社会主义现代化建设服务的最终目的,指出并不是每一种科技期刊都必须国际化,各刊要根据刊情合理定位,并在此基础上不断发展壮大。同时简要分析了我国目前的期刊管理现状对期刊国际化的影响,认为国家应从政策、资金、人才配备等方面,对有条件实现国际化的期刊给予重点支持,帮助他们进入国际名刊。

This paper discussed the internationalisation symbols of scitech journals and their relations, the purpose for the internationalisation of scitech journals in China. It indicated that the primary symbol of internationalised scitech journals is its internationalised contents and readers, its internationalisation should not deviate from the utmost objective to serve the socialism modernization construction. Meanwhile, the paper also indicted that it is not necessary to internationalise all the scitech journals, each journal should decide its own orientation and try to improve its quality. The influence of current administrative terms on the internationalisation of scitech journals was also analysed. It pointed out that government should support those journals with internationalisation potentials in policy, funds, personnel and other aspects, thus to make these journals be internationally famous.
