新批评的科学化努力体现在它建立了一整套包括批评对象、批评原则和批评方法在内的批评体系。该流派是站在形式主义立场去追求文学批评的客观性、实证性、精密性乃至模式性的,但其片面性使它并不具有真正的科学性。此外,本文根据该流派的文学本质论就文学与科学的关系进行了分析。
