This paper briefly delineates the principle of consolidation in soft ground cons tructing by vibrofloation ballast piles, and introduces the construction technol ogy of the soft ground consolidation with the method of Vibrofloation Ballast Pi les applied to sectionⅠof the road around of Guangzhou International Exhibition Center in Pazhou area.
