中国保健食品协会被注销以后……——访中国保健协会潘学田常务副理事长

Redefining Associations

一个时期以来，中国保健科技学会和中国保健食品协会两会并存，为“争夺”企业而“打架”，令企业无所适从。近口，国家有关部门注销了中国保健食品协会，同时将中国保健科技学会更名为中同保健协会。为此，记者专访了中国保健协会常务副理事长潘学田先生。

Collapse of the Health Food Association of China provides some food for thought. It may be arbitrary to suggest the removal of all industrial associations. But generally speaking, as the market system becomes more streamlined and the rule of law prevails, their role should be limited to intermediary services and administration should be vigilant regarding abuses of their power and purpose. Hopefully the end of this association is the start of an overhaul of other associations that appear to be 'authoritative' agencies, but operate as the exact opposite.
