在经济全球化和知识经济的大背景下 ,各国的科技教育逐步趋向融合 ,世界高等教育呈现出普及化、信息化、市场化和终身化的发展趋势。我国在加入世界贸易组织后 ,国外高等教育将进一步介入国内教育市场 ,在教育思想、教育体制、教育方式等方面 ,将对我国高等教育产生全面而深刻的影响。我们必须把握现代产业结构调整的脉搏 ,加快调整学科及专业结构 ,扩大高等教育服务市场的对外开放交流 ,积极推进高等教育现代化进程 ,加紧针对WTO的高等教育立法和法制建设 。

Under the background of economic globalization and knowleddge economy, the scientific education worldwide is inclined to come together.So the populanzation, informat ionalization, murketability and life-long trend become the chmacteristics of the world's higher education. After the entry into WTO of China,alien education industry will exert more infiue in the aspects of higher education ideas,systems and methods,etc.So it is necessary to adjust the structure of subject according to adjustment of industrial stmcture,widen the conummication of higher education service market,actively hasten the modemization course of higher education and improve the higher educational laws and regulations to meet the challenges after WTO.
