The wide research and applications of polysilane and polysiloxane in the field of optics,electrics,sound,magnetism were summarized.The electrical structure and optical absorption properties of polysilane,as well as its development and application in optical and electrical material were introduced.Meanwhile,the research and developing trend of polysilane as the third non-linear optical material were discussed in details.
