薄形美容义眼的研制和临床应用

A report on the clinical application of using artificial eyes made in-house

目的 :探讨便于普及并能根据健眼随时调制、制作简单易行、价廉美容的义眼。方法 :主要以PMMA为材料经过取模、配色、打磨、抛光过程制作薄形义眼 ,给眼球或球内容物摘除的 4 6眼配戴。结果 :随访 1～ 10个月 ,平均 3.2个月。 4 6眼均未发现严重并发症。一次手术者 ,义眼片水平活动度 15°～ 30° ,垂直活动度 10°～ 15° ,二次或多次手术者 ,义眼片水平及垂直活动度为 5°～ 15°。患者达到美容效果。结论 :以PMMA为材料的义眼制作简单 ,价格便宜 ,且简化手术过程 ,效果满意 ,值得临床推广。

Objective:To design an artificial eye by using the healthy eye as a model. To demonstrate that it is a simple,easy and inexpensive process.Methods:PMMA was used to design a thin artificial eye. The model was made to match the color of the healthy eye and was shined and polished to improve the appearance. 46 enucleated or eviscerated eyes were replaced with an artificial model for this study.Results:There were no complications during the follow up period of 1～10 months(average of 3.2 months). There was 15～30 degrees of movement horizontally and 10～15 degrees vertically for the eyes after primary surgery. For those who underwent secondary surgery,movement was 5～15 degrees horizontally and vertically.Conclusion:The PMMA artificial eye was easy and innexpensive to make in house and simplifies the process of replacing an eviscerated eye.
