关于中国近代民族关系史研究的几点思考

Some Reflections on Studies of the History of Modern Chinese Ethnic Relations

本文认为 ,中国近代民族关系史研究的主要内容与问题包括民族危机驱动下的民族聚合、中央政府政治衰败下的各地自立倾向、现代化潮流之下的经济一体化、建立现代民族国家之下的政治认同等四个方面 ,这是当前学术界在探讨和研究中华民族在近代从自在走向自觉这一历史过程时需要解决的学理问题。

This paper pointsout that there are four important questions in the history of modern Chinese ethnic relations. They are the question of the ethnic converging under thenationalcrisis, the tendency to independence underthe declining of the central government, the economic integration underthe tideof modernization, and the political identity with the establishedmodern nation-state. When we study the processof the Chinesenation from a nation-in-self to a nation with self-conscious, we must solve the questions in theory.
