随着我国南极科学考察站的建立,我国船舶赴南极航行的机会将逐渐增多,南极航行有关问题越来越引起航海界的关注和重视.本文对南极地理特点、出航准备、定位与导航及航行注意事项等几个方面的问题进行了探讨,对南极航行的船舶驾驶员及关心这方面问题的人员具有一定的参考和实用价值.

With the Establishment of the South Pole Scientific Exploration Station of China, the more Chinese ships will sail for the South Pole, and the sailing in South Pole is getting attractive by the marine industry. This paper probes into the problems regarding the geographic characteristics of the South Pole, the preparations for sailing, the positioning and navigation, and the points for attention of sailing, which is useful to the persons concerned and the navigators handling a ship to the South Pole for the reference and practice.
