食管癌MMP-2表达与肿瘤细胞增殖活性和转移的关系

Expression of MMP-2 and its Correlation with Tumor Proliferative Activity and Tumor Metastasis in Human Esophodeal Carcinoma

背景与目的 :探讨食管癌组织中MMP_2表达与肿瘤细胞增殖活性和转移的关系。 材料与方法 :用免疫组化SP法 ,检测75例食管癌、30例对照组(食管切缘正常组织)MMP_2、PCNA的表达 ,分析MMP_2表达与食管癌细胞增殖和临床病理因素关系。结果 :MMP_2和PCNA表达率分别为82.7 %和92.0 %;MMP_2表达与PCNA表达呈正相关 ;MMP_2表达与癌细胞的血管侵袭、侵袭深度、食管旁淋巴结转移及远处淋巴结转移相关 ,而与患者年龄、性别和肿瘤大小无相关性。结论 :MMP_2表达与肿瘤细胞的增殖活性和转移相关 ,在食管癌的发展过程中起重要作用。

BACKGROUND&AIM: To investigate the expression of matrix metalloproteinase2(MMP_2)and its correˉlation with tumor proliferative activity and tumor metastasis in human esophageal carcinoma(EC). MATERIAL AND METHODS: The expression of MMP_2and PCNA were detected in75cases of EC and30cases of controls by immunohistochemical stain(SPmethod)and their relationship with the clinicopathologic factorswas analyzed. RESULTS: The positive rates of MMP_2and PCNA were82.7%and92.0%respectively in EC group.The positive rate of MMP_2was correlated with the expression of PCNA(r=0.52,P<0.01).The expression of MMP_2in EC group was correlated with comvessel invasion,depth of invasion,metastasis of the paraesophageal and distant lymph nodes,but not correlates to age,sex and tumor size(P<0.05). CONCLUSION: The expression of MMP_2in EC is closely related with proliferative activity and tumor metastasis.Expression of MMP_2might play an important role in the development of EC,and MMP_2could be a biological marker for evaluating the malignant potential of EC.
