中国有着深厚的人伦关系政治传统。社会主义民主政治建设要回应来自人伦关系政治传统的冲击和挑战 ,必须坚持德治和法治的有机统一 ,将人伦关系限定在合理的范围之内 ,同时必须大力发展社会主义市场经济 ,加强平等公民意识的宣传和教育 ,实现重人伦关系向平等公民关系的递嬗和飞跃 ,将社会主义民主政治构筑在更为牢固的基础之上。

China has a long political tradition of human relationship. As the socialist democracy construction is responsive to the impact and challenge form political tradition of human relationship, we shall persist in connecting ruling by ethic with ruling by law, restricting the human relationship within a reasonable range. At the same time, we must strengthen the propaganda and education of awareness of the equal citizenship so that the socialist democracy is built on more solid foundation.
