The Network System of Chinese Vocabulary and Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language

本文重点探讨汉语词汇的词形和词义的内部规律 ,即汉语词汇的词形结构网络性和词义联想网络性。如果让外国学生掌握了这些词汇网络性特点 ,不仅能使他们认识汉语词汇的结构特点和词汇的生成规律 ,而且可以加深他们对汉语词汇语义文化内涵的理解 ,从而可提高对外汉语词汇教学的质量和效果。

This article discusses the internal relation between the morphology and semantics of Chinese vocabulary, viz. the network characteristic of Chinese morphology and the network of semantic associations in Chinese vocabulary. If learners are aware of the mechanism of lexical network, they not only get a better understanding of the characters of Chinese morphology and the rules of word formation in Chinese, but also understand the semantic and cultural implications hidden in Chinese vocabulary. In this way, the teaching of Chinese vocabulary will be more effectively.
