Methyl-3-(2-Furyl)-2-Propen-1-ol was synthesized by cross cannizzaro reaction.Such kind of synthetic method had many advantages,such as the simple operation steps,the low-price materials,etc.Under the optimum conditions,the product yield is up to 58.1 % which is higher than the reported yeild.
