摘要
本文分析了1966—1978年间地磁暴期间地球大气气旋的变化。在地磁暴发生后,大气涡度面积指数(VAI)出现明显的扰动。在磁暴发生后第2天VAI有一个明显的增加,然后下降,到第4天VAI下降到最小值。但是,不同的磁暴类型发生时,VAI的扰动特征是不同的,而且具有明显的季节效应。
This paper provides a statistical study of the variation of the Atmospheric Vorticity Area Index (VAI) during geomagnetic storms for 1966-1978. The results show that the influence of geomagnetic storms on VAI is very obvious. VAI increases evidently when geomagnetic storms occur, then VAI decreases, and the maximum decrease occurs on the fourth day after geomagnetic storms. But the variation characteristic of VAI during each type of geomagnetic stoms is different, and there is obvious season effect in the variation of VAI.
