Reflection on "Putting People First

目前,在我国出现了一种"以人为本"的社会理念。这是我国社会发展需要的产物,与我国科技发展、社会转型以及人们物质文化生活水平的提高有关。在这一理念的指导下,我们应该在当今社会倡导一种人与人之间互相理解、互相关心、互相尊重的人际关系,并创造各种条件满足人们不同层次的精神文化需要。

Nowadays, there appears a kind of social idea 'put people first' in our country. It is the result of the needs in Chinese social developing and relates to the progress of science-and-technology, the transformation of society and the improvement of people's material and cultural life. Following this idea, mutual understanding, mutual concern and mutual respect between human beings should be advocated in order to create various kinds of conditions to satisfy the people's different spiritual and cultural demands.
