Orientation and Development of High-quality Family Planning Services in Poverty-stricken Moun-tain Areas

分析了贫困山区群众现阶段的计划生育需求,指出这些需求与贫困山区计划生育综合服务实力的差距。结合英山县计生优质服务实践,提出:贫困山区开展计划生育优质服务工作必须科学定位,在现有资源和群众最为迫切的需求之间选准结合点,优先发展部分技术服务项目;以计卫联手的形式,利用社会资源拓展服务领域等。

Linking with the FP practice in Yingzhan County, this article points out the gap between the actual FP requirements and the present FP service capacity in poverty-stricken mountain areas. And it brings forward that the high-quality family planning services must be scientifically oriented, a joint point between the existing resources and the most urgent demands of the masses must be correctly decided. Priority should be given to the preferential development of some technical service items, and the service range should be enlarged by associating the family planning institutions and public health institutions.
