传统PSTN与VOIP的比较研究

Comparative Research Between PSTN and VOIP

从电信级应用的角度对传统PSTN和VOIP进行了比较研究。从交换方式、信令、寻址、路由四个方面对PSTN与VOIP进行详细分析与比较,可直观地看出IP电话在交换技术、带宽占用、系统开放性、通信成本、系统灵活性等诸方面优于传统的PSTN,通过对IP电话与PSTN资费对比,阐述了VOIP价格的竞争力。并给出了用户、IP电话营运商、IP电话技术等几个要素循环互动的模型,VOIP将成为长途通信的主流应用,PSTN与VOIP将逐步走向融合。

From the angle of applications given by public telecom enterprises (China Telecom, China Unicom, etc.), the comparative research between traditional PSTN and VOIP has been done in this paper. The switching technology, signal system, protocols as well aw routines were compared and analyzed. The results show that VOIP were much better than PSTN in switching technology. Costing, band consuming, openness and flexibility. Based on the latest official Telecom costing files, the costing comparative results was given out between VOIP and PSTN. The interactive effecting model was given out in this paper. The opinion that VOIP and PSTN should be treated as a whole system was also pointed out.
