Practical Writing Courses Should Not Keep Away from Literature

应用文与文学作品虽有区别,但自古就难有明确的界限。现代应用文与文学更是日益交融。现代应用文借用文学体式,使用文学语言更是屡见不鲜,因此应用写作课不应拒绝文学,适当讲些文学是必要的,也是可行的。

It is true that practical writings are different from literary works. However, there is no clear distinction between them. In modern times, practical writings and literature mingle with each other day by day. It is a common occurrence to write modern practical articles in literary style, using classical Chinese. Hence, practical writing courses should not keep away from literature. It is necessary and feasible to give something about literature in the courses.
