摘要
R&D的垂直溢出提高了厂商的R&D水平,垂直的R&D合作促进了整个产业的研发投资。以各厂商从R&D投资中所获得的利润增量占总利润增量的比例作为各厂商成本分担比例,考察了上下游厂商成本分担比例和R&D合作后上下游厂商净收益与垂直R&D合作体规模之间的关系。结果表明,尽管上游厂商R&D成本分担比例随着参与合作的下游厂商数目k的增大而增大,下游成员厂商R&D成本分担比例随k的增大而减小,但是上游厂商净收益随着k的增大而增大,下游成员厂商净收益随着k的增大而减少,因此,上游厂商所确定的R&D最佳合作规模大于下游成员厂商的R&D最佳规模。
Vertical R&D spillovers can improve the firms' R&D levels. Vertical R&D cooperation promotes R&D investments of a whole industry. This paper defines the proportion of increase in each firm's gross profits from R&D investment to increase in total gross profits of the R&D cooperation as the proportions of R&D cost sharing and investigates the relationship between the proportions, the net profits of upstream firm and downstream firms after R&D investment and the size of vertical R&D cooperation. The conclusions are that: although the cost sharing proportion of upstream firm increases with the number of member downstream firms, k and that of downstream firms decreases with k, the net profits of upstream firm increases with k and that of downstream firms decreases with k . Therefore, the optimal size of R&D cooperation of upstream firm is larger than that of downstream member firms.
