摘要
对脉冲跨周期调制(PSM)开关电源的特性进行了研究。这类开关电源的效率比常规的脉冲宽度调制(PWM)高,且基本上与负载无关;通过状态机对负载进行离散侦测以及电流极限模糊控制模式,提高了电源的响应度;通过频率抖动,降低了开关电源的电磁干扰影响。这类开关电源集远程遥控关断、外部可编程、智能保护、同步等功能于一体,隐现了功率系统级发展的一种途径。
Major characteristics of the switching power supply with pulse skip modulation (PSM) are investigated in the paper. The device has a higher efficiency than the conventional switching power supply with PWM, and it is almost load-independent. Response speed has been improved by both the state machine,which makes discrete detection on load,and current limit fuzzy control. The effect of EMI has been reduced through frequency jitter. Functions such as remote on/off, external programmability, smart protection, synchronization are integrated into a chip,which indicates a promising approach to developing power system on chip.
