A 20 W audio power amplifier has been developed, which, having very low distortion and high quality performance for audio applications, is capable of delivering 20 W of output to a 4 Ω or 8 Ω load at ±25 V power supplies. The amplifier is designed to operate with a minimum of external components. The design takes advantage of advanced circuit techniques and process technology to achieve extremely low distortion levels even at high output power. The circuit also features high gain, high slew rate, broad bandwidth, large output voltage swing, high current, and a very wide supply range.
