On the basis of brief introduction on production process of blast furnace,the composition,control principle and technical poser of the pressure control system of furnace roof of blast furnace are discussed.Through the application of parallel grouping regulators the characteristics of the grouping regulators are introduced.By using powerful function of DCS positive action of the group regulator has been fully played.The range of regulation is wider and the control quality is enhanced.In general the expecting result has been fulfilled.
