尽管以OCC废纸抄制瓦楞原纸已日益增多,阔叶木NSSC浆依然是高档瓦楞原纸的主要纤维组成。2002年,美国NSSC浆产量为527万t,估计在今后若干年内还将以0.3%～0.5%的速率持续增长。不少NSSC浆厂采用以流化床装置为核心的蒸发、燃烧、亚硫酸化工艺流程,克服了NSSC黑液热值较低的问题,取得了良好效果。值得注意的是,1974年投入生产的Sonoco化学品回收法,运转多年,证明也是行之有效的方法之一。
