This paper states the strcture, method,function and principle of the system using 8031 single-chip microcomputer as processor to carry out data accuisition of the consolidation test for foundation, and describes the characteristics, performance indexes,role and working procedure of units.Main parameters essential to data acquisition system are calculated.
