In translation theory and practice, translator is in a subordinate position and simply regarded as a bilingual agent who decodes messages in the source language and re encodes messages in the target language. Actually, the translator starts translating by reading the source text as an ordinary reader. Due to the indeterminacy of the source text and the inaccessibility of the author's intention, the translator has to interpret the source text with the interference of his pre understanding.
