Along with the revolutionary breakthrough of chip technique, software technique, and computer technique, etc., the next generation network (NGN) will replace PSTN gradually. This paper briefly introduces the network model and typical distinctions of NGN and the features of NGN business, and forecasts the developing prospect of NGN business.
