摘要
对MPEG4编码方式的信源建模方法进行了研究.比较了采用基于场景复杂性的马尔可夫调制的自相似过程和基于数据结构的自相似过程2种方法建模MPEG4的性能优劣.同时对文献[1]中的一阶马尔可夫建模小波系数的方法进行了改进.
Two popular approaches are implemented and compared in modeling MPEG4 video traffic. One is the Markov modulated self-similar process model based on decomposition according to Scene complexity, the other is the structurally modulated self-similar process. The way to generate new wavelet coefficients has been improved in order to get more accurate second-order character.
