丁西林的话剧《孟丽君》是一部其价值有待重新评估的戏剧文本。作为历史剧 ,《孟丽君》突破了当时狭隘的史剧观 ,其娱乐化的喜剧审美倾向在沉闷的十七年剧坛中具有另类的创新意义。同时 ,《孟丽君》借鉴、汲取民族戏曲的艺术传统 。

Meng Li jun ,written by Ding Xi lin,is a script whose value needs reassessing. As a historical comedy,it was a breakthrough against the former type of narrow minded view on historical dramas.The recreative nature in its aesthetic tendency of comedy has innovative significance in the then oppressive drama circle lasting 17 years(1958—1976).Meanwhile,drawing on the artistic tradition of national dramas,it provides the creative work of establishing nationalized modern drama with some referable experiences.
