在镧系离子配合物的水溶液中,镧系离子对配体核的核磁共振弛豫速率具有诱导效应。这种被诱导出的弛豫速率与核及离子之间距离的六次方成反比,由此可确定镧系离子在其配合物中的位置。本文测定了La^(3+)和Pr^(3+)在其烟酸配合物中与各个质子核间的相对距离,发现它们处在烟酸中羧基的角平分线上。
The lanthanide ion has the effect of inducing the NMR relaxation rates of the determined nuclei in its coordination compound in aqueous solution. The rates induced are proportional to the inverse 6th power of the distances between the nuclei and the ion. The position of the ion can thus be determined. In this paper measurement is made of the places of La^(3+) and Pr^(3+) in their complexes with nicotinic acid in aqueous solution, with the conclusion that the lanthanide ion is located at the bisector of the carboxylic group of the ligand.
