摘要
基于Pell方程的一个解,我们得到了一个元素是实二次函数域基本单位的充分条件,并给出这个结果在实二次函数域类数1问题中的应用。
In the present paper, the solutions of Pell equation are used to determine the fundemental unit of real quadratic function fields. The result is applied to the problem of ideal class number one of real quadratic function fields.
