Based on the analysis of fluid discharge in axial piston pump together with mathematical derivation this paper draws a conclusion that in regard to the flow pulsation the axial piston pump with even pistons is superior to that with odd pistons, and the flow pulsation frequency has nothing to do with odd or even number of pistons.
