传统“义训”之批判与“引申推义”之提出

Criticism of the Traditional “Yi Xun" and Proposition of Extension and Inference

本文在揭示“方法”一词的内涵和分析传统训诂方法鼎足三立的基础上 ,指出传统“义训”的缺陷 ,并提出“引申推义”法 ,以与“以形索义”、“因声求义”并列。

On the basis of revealing the connotations of the w or d “method' and an analysis of the tripartite setup of the traditional method ap plied in interpretation of ancient words, this paper points out the defects of t he traditional “yi xun' (义训), proposes the approach of “extension and infere nce' (引申推义) that might be applied side by side with “seeking meaning from f ormation' and “seeking meaning from pronunciation'.
