Discussion of the English Translation of the Term "Philology

本文主要通过文献调查方法,对中国大百科全书中文献学的英文译名提出质疑,进而提出笔者所认为的传统文献学的英文译名,并进行阐述。

This paper questions the English translation of the term 'Philology' in Encyclopedia of China by using the method of literature investigation and proposes what the author believes a better translation for the term.
