The concept of internal residual gas analysis of hermetic device was briefly introduced. The importance for the manafacturer and user to understand the residual gas analysis of product was presented. The internal gas analysis could help to understand the possible failure modes due to residual gas and to improve the process for the control of gas content, which in turn would result in the improved quality and reliability of hermetic devices.
