在西部挤压盆地山前构造带 ,泥岩电阻率对水平构造挤压应力响应灵敏。借助Patette ,J .G研究成果分析了地层条件下构造挤压应力对泥岩电阻率影响 ,在强挤压条件下 ,地应力变化是电阻率变化的主导因素。利用泥岩这种特性进行多方面地质应用 ,包括在井筒方向上对最大主地应力进行定性和定量评价 ;研究地应力分布与储层分布关系 ,确定优质储层发育的地应力条件 ;
In the tectonic compressive areas in west China, the shale resistivity is a sensitive indicator of terrestrial stress in the horizontal tectonics. With the help of J.G. Patchett′s work, the mechanism of shale electrical conductivity is discussed in the highly compressive areas. It′s shown that the terrestrial stress distribution plays a dominant role in changes of shale resistivity. This special characteristic of shale can be applied to petroleum exploration, including qualitatively and quantitatively determining the terrestrial stress distributions along wells; determining the favorable terrestrial stress environments in high quality reservoir and assessing sealing ability of caprocks in the compressive areas.
