摘要
20世纪80年代以来在美国推行的“新教师入门指导计划”被认为是稳定中小学教师队伍,提高教师质量的一项成功措施。文章介绍了这一改革方案的历史由来、近期发展及其背景,并讨论了它的目的、内容、具体实施方案、实施中面临的一些问题及其对我国新教师培养的一些启示。
Beginning Teacher Induction Program,widely implemented in American public schools since 1980s,has been considered one of the most successful education reforms aiming at stabilizing public school teaching stuff and improving the quality of teachers. This essay traces the origin and recent development of this reform effort in its context. It describes the purpose,content,implementation procedures and strategies of this program. It also touches on some of the controversial issues involved. Implications for China's new teacher training program are also explored.
